The Emeril Lagasse Culinary Garden & Teaching Kitchen opened in March 2020. It provides Cunningham Elementary students the opportunity to develop an understanding and passion for the art, science, and beauty behind the farm-to-table experience. This culinary garden and teaching kitchen, which is unique within Austin ISD and only one of seven of its kind in the United States, is made possible through a grant by the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. But this grant money has run out!
